GIOIELLERIA SOPRANA
GALLERY
The Soprana family tells a story of a respected business adventure, a path through passion and love for jewels and watches. Recently the jewellery store promoted various events, following a line of cultural sponsorship, which resembles in a way the typical Renaissance patronage, an ambitious project in order to give back the community rare testimonies of Vicenza’s history. As an example, mention can be made of the Crown’s restoration in the church of Mount Berico: celebrating the jubileum, Soprana committed to the project in 2000, grifting the city and its people. The Crown shows how Vicenza always (has) contributed to the art of goldwork, one of its “maestri” was Marangoni, the artist who made it and who successively sold the Soprana jewellery store to Adolfo Soprana in 1973. The restoration of the Bissara tower happened in 2001 (a project based on the studies of Michela Barausse) and was led by the exhibition for its 600th anniversary: the event took place in the exclusive Zavatteri Salon.
2006 was then the year of another exhibition “Vicenza jewel”, created and promoted by Soprana himself and hosted in the Diocesan Museum of Vicenza.
Today Lella and Stefano run the store together with their sons Matteo and Giovanni, connecting their story to the future: in 2008 Matteo and Giovanni brought ScrignoSoprana.com to life, an e-commerce for their international customers.
