OSTERIA IL CURSORE
Cursore tavern started its business in 1922, by the time Marco De Moro, courier (cursore) of Arcugnano, retired and moved together with his family to Vicenza old town, in Contrà del Pozzetto 10, where he opened the tavern together with his wife Elvira Manzato. Twenty years ago the tavern was taken over from the Rigodanza family, who added a kitchen to the tavern, without taking away from it its original flair.
At Cursore tavern you will find typical recipes, like polenta with dried salted cod, bigoli with duck ragout and tripe, homemade fettuccine with peas or porcini mushrooms, cavatelli with radicchio and sausage, but also goulash and pork sausage served with mashed potatoes.
At the counter you can taste our typical “spunciotti” (regional for little snacks), fried bites and our well-known bruschette.
