Al Pestello as one of the oldest restaurants in Vicenza old town. Looking through the official deeds of Al Pestello, you can find signed papers for a restaurant business since 1910! Al Pestello reflects its strong local identity in its kitchen, where you can find recipes and products from the region: everything will be treated and cooked respecting seasons, quality and hygiene rules (H.A.C.C.P. protocol).

Precious flours will be transformed into handmade pasta, while other ingredients like meat, fresh water fishes, vegetables, herbs will become typical plates like “bigoi co’ l’arna” (homemade regional pasta with duck-ragout); “poenta e scopetòn” (polenta with anchovies); “bacalà á la visentina” (dried salted code in the style of Vicenza) and so on.
